Why a Sequel?

A sequel allows us to push the boundaries of the escape room genre. We wanted to explore darker themes and experiment with new gameplay and puzzle mechanics. Separating from the original game allowed us to focus on improving key features like rendering, networking, physics, and animations.

Will Escape Simulator Still Get Updates?

Yes! We will continue to support Escape Simulator with new content and platform expansions and it will remain a key part of our development plans.

Is it Scary?

While Escape Simulator 2 has a darker and more mysterious atmosphere, it's not a horror game. There are no jump scares or gore.
